what's with the openads thing popping up in links, has some code changed, or s...="https://forum.ih8mud.com/search.php"]search function, and didn't find anything pertaining to it, so I just thought I would mention it

and so I type axle, highlight it, click the "insert link" button paste the link help axle - https://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series-tech/196515-help-axle.html?highlight=function
and I get: Openads

is there a way to disable that?

I tried to post a web address and it shows the dumbass's misnamed page.

Is there any way to override it? I tried to manually modify it, but it was a no go.

I guess I can manually change it and leave it in quotes...that seems to work

nevermind...I have a workable work-around.

I beleive if you put [noparse][noparse]<-these->[/noparse][/noparse] around your link, it will stop any autoformatting from happening

eg. your above link: IH8MUD.com - Home
with noparse is shown as [noparse]http://www.ih8mud.com/[/noparse]

(and yes, I had to put noparse tags around my noparse tags to show them )

interesting, I just tried to link coolerman's profile in a thread, did the [noparse]Openads[/noparse]
and it popped up as Openads
when I went to edit it, it showed [noparse]Openads[/noparse]



dammit, I just typed coolerman in the noparsed section above, and now that is showing up as "Openads", what I had actually typed was:[noparse]"coolerman"[/noparse] without the quotes
Openads are the debbil! they overwhelmed my noparse kung fu!
