Well the Pig was lonely...so I got it a stable mate.

This is the 77 from Ashland that used to be Steve's. It still has JSC stickers on it. The only thing missing is the transfer case. I believe it went out and or the transmission went out. I think the engine is fine. I almost got it started today.

The loot!

Well then you can guess what happened next. The Pig is incorrigible! I believe I will have a whole litter of Pigs in another 6-9 months. I had to avert my eyes!

Oink!

Red, white and blue- Is this how you express your patriotism?
Nice..

The red and white 1978 that was in Jville a while back looked like it was pretty solid but not worth the asking price. If it is the one I knew of it was imported from Africa years ago.

Anyone got a 4speed transfer-case laying around. I believe with a new one it should be drivable again.

Sorry. I just eat pig parts for breakfast.

Better get 'Ol Blue spayed before things get out of hand!

I knew I shouldn't have let the Pigs spend the night together! This week this thing just popped out!
Its identical to mine but its an automatic. Got a good deal on it, some sort of engine problem. Towed it home from Rogue River doing 35-45mph and the 4runner did great. Only about 3000 pounds over its towing capacity! Granted I do have the heavy duty front brakes, heavy rear springs and heavy rear shocks...I may need to do a LS swap in my PIG so I can tow with it. Good times!

Sooooo, the ad on craigslist for the 4runner said it had a broken rod. When I got there he said he took great care of it and that it blew a spark plug outta the hole which he attributed to the piston smacking it and shooting it out (suspicious with these engines). When I got it off the trailer I looked down in the plug hole and couldn't see any damage. I put another plug in and a new battery and it fired right up! Ran perfectly, everything works!! He had taken it to a mechanic who had given him the diagnosis. Clearly the guy didn't even look at it. As if all this wasn't good enough it turns out this guy bought the 4runner brand new and had all the paperwork in the glove box. He paid $29,999 in 1999!

Chad: I don't need a 1F. I need to get rid of the 2F in the new PIG. The PIG guy took extensive notes and turns out he was only getting 7 MPG in that thing! OINK OINK! I will probably be parting it out. I'll steal the good stuff for my PIG but everything else is going bye-bye.
Don't want a 100 series, I'm retired, I got nothing but time to convert my PIG into my dream PIG. Besides, 100 series do nothing for me. I'm not a leather-seat-on-my-butt-crack kinda guy. I like females.

:want:

Yeah, did you talk to him yet? If you get me his number I'll give him a call...gotta wait til I'm done with my dad's superduty before I can go get it though. NEVER BUY A Ford 6.0 diesel! I'm just sayin.

My work van did that once- It just blew the plug out. I guess it wasn't torqued down or was a funky plug, bought a new one and it was fine. Good deal.
As for your t-case you might try John in GP for parts- last time I asked him he didn't have a complete one. PM me for his number if you need it.

I got that 2f running and it has ton of blow by, the carb was soaked in oil. I don't think I am going to pursue getting that pig roadworthy. Every body panel has a dent or rust. The interior is pretty nice and there is a bunch of other good parts on it so its going under the knife.

LMAO!
