And alas, the issue for any of the Tucson or Southern AZ folks, is that several hours of drive to and from, and the milage/gas. I also run into this all the time with work associations - they always want to hold their meets in Phoenix.

Thanks! Yea I hope to have a BBQ soon, prolly in like a month. Unless we want to have a quick throw together, CSC BBQ here at my place. I can imagine it now... my street filled with Land Cruisers! Haha! I have beer, not so much homebrew, but beer nonetheless. And yes, it has a 15k BTU in wall heat pump, 220 volt. It keeps the place cool enough. :)

So are we interested in having a BBQ at my place? It can be big or small... this weekend works for me too. Friday afternoon, or Saturday afternoon. Let me know.

Alright all... how does Saturday afternoon about 6pm sound for a BBQ at my place. Bring meat. I have some beer but not a whole lot. If you have a favorite 6-pack, bring it. Let me know if you'll be able to make it or not. See ya then.

You weren't the only one to miss it. No one showed or posted. The next one I'll for sure give plenty of warning ahead of time.
 
That sucks man....like you said being last minute combined with being the 4th of July weekend, and unusually hot probably didnt help.

I never seen a date....thought you were thinking about the future - end of month or so? I am there...just need some warning...
 
I too was thinking the future....had family stuff happening on the 4th weekend
