Two steps in the right direction, wife drove a 2013 Lexus after driving the new escalade and she wants the LX.

Sold her X5 today....so...the fun begins!

Still debating waiting to try and see if there are some serious trade ins once the 2016 hits the lots.

We would like to stay around $60k, less than 40k miles. White or black exterior and tan interior.

Hope to join in the fun soon!

PS, I forgot the "L" in Prowl, tried to edit the title....no luck.

Thank you! Very few for sale in Arkansas, so we are looking mainly in Texas, Dallas is about 4 hours from Hot Springs.

If you have been to Hot Springs ORV park, I live about 15 minutes from there.

Sewell Lexus in Dallas moves a ton of LX570s compared to most areas, though you need to check Carfax and Lexus Driver for their source and service history. I worked with a great salesman there to get first shot at a 14K miles 2013 coming in. He was really upfront about it when he got eyes on it and said if was probably rougher than I wanted for the price, even though they do wonders with paint and interiors. Ended up getting a 2013 at my local dealer, after watching the GMs wife put 14K miles on it since May...hurt just watching. Ping me if you want his name.

Most of the Lexus dealers seem to still have the 2013s in the high 50s to mid 60s depending on miles and color. California seemed to be a bit lower in price. Almost all are optioned the same, except for Collision Avoidance in some cases.

This one intrigued me and if it had been local I might have been more aggressive. Good price with 100K Lexus warranty. Lexus service records imply some kind of body work on rear tail gate, but that's the only thing I noted, not having seen it.

Yes, Sewell has a solid inventory. My local dealer just got a 2013 in stock, Cadillac dealer, the lx had a small dent in the passenger front fender.

Pretty clean overall tho

The one you linked on auto trader is stunning

Yes it is, but the wife is wanting white or black...

I probably should have made the trip. The Lexus warranty is valued from $2-3K, which puts that truck in the $58K and negotiable range. I really wanted white, and got it, but that one was tempting.

What did you pay for your lx?

Mileage seems high compared to CPO car from Lexus Dealer. Paid $64k for mine with 28k on it. They did the 30k service and a bunch of cosmetic cleanup. Wasn't a great deal, but worth it to me to have my techs check it and the dealer bent over backwards to make it immaculate.

Be sure and create Lexus.com Drivers account and check service records.

They should deal. LX's seem to move faster on Lexus lots than non-Lexus. Quite a few in Texas, relatively speaking. Houston particularly.

For that money I'd look at the Dallas private seller I linked to. Oops, you wanted black.

Lexus Service history on the black one is pretty complete with services through 40k. Reading between the lines I'd definitely check brakes and tires.

I checked the records, all service completed at the little rock lexus dealer. I also talked to the original owner, she said the brakes need replacement, but other than that it is clean. She wouldn't tell me how much they traded her for it.

I really think the price should be around $55k but they don't seem to want to deal much.

There is a white 2014 private seller in Dallas that looks sharp. http://m.autotrader.com/cars-for-sa...chRadius=300&offset=45&mmt=[LEXUS[LX570[]][]]

I would not pay more than $54,950 try to stay between the circled prices.
I bought mine 2 months ago at Sewell in fort worth and has excellent experience. They were upfront about issues and did not force me to buy. I took my time to think about it and pulled the trigger and happy about it. You can find my DIY of the couple of issues it had which i fixed. I also wanted black and after about 6 months found what i wanted, so i would suggest you take your time look around and keep your radius of search to 500 miles you will get what you want. But as others mentioned, do check carfax and lexus history, mine was one owner and went to same lexus dealer ever 5k miles regularly without a break which is the main reason i bought it.
good luck searching and keep us posted what you get

Went and inspected the local lx, it showed a lot of wear under closer inspection, we told the dealer we would not be interested in making any offer. He apologized and said he would get it detailed but it's a $50k rig and they have $56k in it. They will take a bath. For some reason, they are pushing escapades extremely hard, maybe dealer incentive or something, but they begged us to make any offer on an escalade and I said no thank you.

It's off to Dallas to start the search. May take a while, but we have my in-laws navigator for the time being.
