Being from the desert all my Whole life, New to the Area Like a fish out of water.

Just wanted to say HI to everone, in the MD/DC/VA Im in the for the first time.

Met Bob, 76fj40 and the boys a couple weeks ago great host !
I hope to meet more Cruiser people in time.

I am just getting to know my way around Wanted to stop by the meeting last Wed @ Killroys looks to be about 20 miles or so from where I stay in Herndon but... I start my day early 3:30 AM don't know how long I will be around but atleast untill November Joe C

Since you're here through possibly November, you'll have to join us on the Fall Crawl, hosted by Bay to Blue Ridge Cruisers at Rausch Creek, PA on October 7, 8, 9. It's OK if you don't have your Cruiser--several of us probably have a seat available, plus some extra camping gear to outfit you.

A seat sounds real Cool i'm stil in the tourest mode. I can have a backpack tent and gear sent out.
my 2f is out of my cruiser for some fixes, I hope to have time to put it back in this winter.

the trip to kilroys will be worth it, from herndon it's not too bad, just 2 turns (east on the toll road, and south (counter clockwise) on the beltway to braddock road. can you sneak away for fall crawl?

I stopped by Killroy's about 8 pm this week could not find anybody poor planning on my part.

bummer! cause we were there.

we park around back, which would have been good for you to know beforehand. If you passed-by in the front parking lot, you wouldn't know we were there.

We usually take four or five tables in one of the dining areas--like we did last night. There were 15 or 16 of us present.

Sad you missed us, do you think you'll make it up for Fall Crawl (even as a day trip)?

ugh, sorry to hear. we were definitely seated at 8pm, we didn't get up until after 9pm from the tables (slow service last night). as mentioned, we had about 6 tables together, in the far back left corner of the joint...
