OME steering shock question? (1 Viewer)

Dumb ? so bare with me.
Which end of the shock attaches to the frame and the tie rod?
Does it matter?
OME has lock nuts on both ends, do you torque one end in then attach the other to the frame plate and the tie rod?
Are torque settings the same as OEM?

Factory torque is fine or you can tighten until the bushings compress some.
