Ordered my OME Med/Med suspension today from MetalTech! I will finally be getting my ARB bumper installed! :bounce:

Winch, All Pro lower control arm links, and Ham Radio probably next month. :D

Any takers on helping me with the install? I'm a mechanical noob so I can use all the help I can get. We were originally going to head to the Oregon Coast this weekend (took Friday & Monday off too) but the weather looks like it is going to be wet & cold so we canceled, that means I have four days to install my lift, front bumper and lights. Any takers on some assistance?

I might even begin tomorrow night after I pick up the lift from ARB will call in Renton. I am in need of some spring compressors to get those struts on, anyone have some I can borrow? If not I can go pickup some cheapo's at HF or CRAPs.

Oly,

Shoot me an e-mail (northwesttuttle@msn.com) with your info. I will be heading out to Spokane after work on Friday but I still do not know if I will be working Monday or not. If you are still needing assistance, let me know.

As for the spring compressor, IMO you should never buy cheap stuff. Instead rent a set from Schuck's or similar parts warehouse.

I am mechanically inclined but have never worked on a Toyota let alone an LC but hey you have to start sometime. I am so new to these that I am still waiting for my repair manual to come in the mail.

Well thanks to Steve the ARB bumper is on!

The OME lift goes on tomorrow morning...

did you clean off the radiator while you had the front end apart?

Nope, probably should have after looking at those pics... ;p

I will be taking it off to install a winch in a few weeks so I'll do then.

I'll take some more pics later, I need to finish my wiring and switch install as I half-a$$ed it just to get 'em on. I took some before height pics, need to take some after to see what the difference actually is. More to follow.

I can not believe the difference this suspension made in the ride quality, OME nailed it!

Couldn't get into the shop today with the lift, no biggie we still had access to air tools!

That looks real good, great job on the install.
What winch are you going with?

was this done at your place Brian? I like the old bronco and the crew cab in the background.

Nope the owner of Affordable Auto glass here in town, we went to MS & HS together... No kids = lots of toys, he just put on 42" TSL's on the Ford

Brian, that looks GREAT! I am getting some ARB envy! :)

Maybe I need to get out and thrash the FJ80 some more so I can justify spending the money on my FJ!

Looks good Brian. May have missed it, but what tires are you going to run?

I'm on Nitto Terra Grappler AT 265/70/17's right now, I would like to find some 16" wheels that will fit my over sized Tundra discs & calipers.

Once the wheels are located I will probably go with the Pro Comp Xtreme Mud Terrains.

or the new BFG M/T's due out the end of September.
