Slowly progressing... This part is very time consuming. The intercooler will be custom made water to air. vounted on the top of the engine. While we are looking for the core we want to connect it and start the all auxiliary systems.

The air intake and design of quick connections of MB is frankly said is sh***t, that is why MB engines are always with oil spots and leaks. We are going to eliminate all of these, and install proper size oil catch.

We completely removed EGR, but as the valve and the EGR cooler is in good condition we are going to use the EGR cooler. On the stock outlet we will come out with piping, manual switch for valve and it will be a winter assist for fuel heater return line. Cooler itself will be relocated on the rear side of the turbo. As we are using stock toyota's air filter housing there is plenty of space. Summer time just click the switch an no heating for return line. :)

That intake tube is a practice in patience training, looks great. Thanks for posting

Finally all mechanical part is done, now only electrical left :) we started and did test drive. Feels waaay effortless than any toyota engines, gaining speed, moving and etc. 35" tires driving like a merc on regular tires. Throttle response is unbelievable, there no landcruser 80 or 100 series to compare with.

As you can see we did not connected the heater and Webasto yet. But trying to make everything neat and nice.
We will be relocating the fuel filter later after tests, and also we are looking into intercooler and intake manifold combined. so we are going to make up some space. Also we are getting rid of ABS.

Hey, You want the car to run without ABS or the engine to operate without using ABS signal ?

Car running without ABS.... The ECU is cut off from any BS like ABS, TCP and etc. We want to relocate the Webasto on the place of ABS pump and install Webasto's fuel tank inside of the right front fender.

If it is running without all these electronic stuff i see it as a good success story of conversion !. I hope to go that route

Waiting to finish some trans issues and parts, the vehicle is driveable. It can easily start from second gear. Engine runs great. We got to finish some cosmetic and inner configuration. No vibrations, no different sound.

After all complete we will do a intercooler, reset the ECU. And we are good to go for test run.

I've done something similar, mb w124 320cdi, 722.6, abs, esp and immobilizer and all that stuff it need to start and run properly. Everything works just fine, but now i wan't to put an om612/613 into an old w115 -75, i want to do it like you and get rid of all that electronic BS like abs/esp/immo etc.. so i need your help how i'm gonna resolder and remap the original ecu as a standalone unit.
I know how to read/rewrite and burn microship and microcotroller from the ecu, but how do i know what paragraf to change and write into the binfiles to get rid of abs/esp/eis etc? Maybe arduino will find the coding?

My suggestion would be to have the ECU sent out to a tuning company, if you can't turn off those features. There are a lot of companies in EU to help you out with it.

Dragos80 thankyou for the good suggest please if you know any ecu tuning companies sucessfully done for OM 613 engine would be great timer saver i have heard in EU but iam not in europe any trustable ecu tuning company would conclude my project .

Dragos80 thanks alot for kind for searching . dear how do i send PM to tugarin he has done great job and effort putting that 613 in toyota. iam new this forum please guide how send pm

Dear Tugarin
please update what is the status of your project as its dream of many OM 613 engine desirer.
Please tell about ABS , ESP , Limpmode how is that bypassed. I have completed the installation in an mercedes G class old 86 model W460 chassis [280GE]. my project its driveable but no gear shifts . any suggestion help on ecu tuning companies would conclude my project.

Just click on his name and a small window will pop up.

I asked one company in EU regarding your needs, and the reply was negative. They only perform the regular performance tuning, not custom work.
