I just rec'd my Olight M30 Triton yesterday from BushCraft Canada that I had ordered last week on sale for $103. I feel as though I have been left in the dark ages as I knew nothing about the recent advances with these modern "torches". I have to say that compared to my old Maglite this thing is incredible. Just to indicate how advanced these flashlights are, I called a local battery supply store, and they didn't even know what I was taking about when I asked for a CR18650 battery:rolleyes:. It looks like I'll have to order some from the States as I could find none here, but I did get some CR123 batteries and the light this thing puts out is mind blowing (at least compared to my Maglight). The strobe feature is pretty neat as well.

CR18650 given that number, I'd say it is a rechargeable Li-Ion cell like used in laptops. Roughly 2500 to 3000 mA hour capacity at 3.6 or 3.7 Volts. Get the right voltage for the charger. That is critical as a 3.6V battery in a charger for a 3.7V battery will seriously reduce the life of the battery due to charging at to high of voltage. Going the other way with a 3.7V cell in a 3.6V charger won't kill that battery, but the battery may not get fully charged.

18650's are nice, I been carrying a M20 for maybe 2 or 3 years now and have an M21 as a weapons light... and a few hawglights... The batteries are getting cheaper so that is a plus, I like the Ultrafires.

Before I picked up the M20 I was using Fenix lights, AA and AAA, and 2xAA, impressive and batteries were easily sourced and replaced but the 18650 battery lasts longer and is much brighter.
