I remember reading somewhere that engine oils that contain zinc are not recommended for engines that run a catalytic converter. Can't recall where or when I came across this info though. Is this accurate?
No idea. Never heard of that.

It does form a phosphate coating in the catalytic converter, and that reduces the efficiency of the catalyst. So maybe something to be aware of if you have to deal with a sniffer test.

i thought Valvoline stopped making 20W50 Full Synthetic ?

It’s not full synthetic. It’s like regular lightbulbs. Works great in a 30 year old
