I’m not sure if Dearborn is still alive but his Stainless tray and
Battery wire kit was/is a work of art

That's a stainlesstrays.com tray. They are excellent. They are made by a guy named Noell, and I think he's in Reno. Absolutely the last battery tray you will ever need. I notice he's all out of 60 trays right now-hopefully he will make more.

Good thread, Nolen, I've been following all weekend to see if it cranked up! Sorry about the setback.

I have not driven my 60 since July,, but your thread made me get it out and drive it all over to burn up most of the gas in the tank.

Ah, Dearborn aka Urban Land Cruisers made the Wires I know. I thought he provided the tray too. Thanks for the correction. 8 years is a long time.

I used @FJ60Cam up. Not sure we would have had time to fire
Even if the TBI housing was not
Broken

Question......what is the proper sequence in putting in the radiator, shroud and fan? We did radiator first then Fan and Shroud at the same time. It was pretty awful........
Split the shroud... you will thank yourself later.

This bloody bandage tells the tale. There is no way I could have done all this without my buddy @pmccraney who sweated and bled for me today

Good game Coach; glad you followed your process and everyone executed that day. Good day, everyone left everything on the gridiron.

Split the shroud... you will thank yourself later.
. X10 if you haven't already done that then I would do radiator, lower shroud, fan , upper shroud

Here’s how we hooked up the throttle cable...

First, drill a hole in the firewall behind the hole in the hand throttle arm in the FJ60 gas pedal, sized for the throttle cable end.

Then, you’ll need the factory plastic clip that is designed to clip the hand throttle cable into the top of the gas pedal (discontinued, only available from $OR):

This clips into the pedal:

View from the engine side of the firewall (you’ll have to clearance the brake booster heat shield with a hammer):

continued...

You’ll need to fab a cable bracket for the TBI:

Next, feed the cable through from the inside, passing through the plastic pedal clip:

Pull tight from the engine side:

Connect to TBI & terminate with a cable stop from the Autozone help section. Repurpose old cable clamp & mount to intake to keep cable from flopping around.

Done!

A local guy I barely know but have been in close contact with during the build has offered up his AFI throttle body to me until they fix mine and return it. He bought a kit when I did and is waiting on the local machine shop to finish his motor. Thank you @maxbob002[/QUOTE]

Good stuff, there!

@maxbob002 let us when you get all your parts in and are ready for a engine stab weekend. Be glad to help. I’m not worth much on the tech side (im “chief air hose roller upper” and “tool hander outer”), but I bet we could make pretty quick work of yours having this fairly fresh on our minds.

The ported vaccuum is where charcoal canister goes as best I have found searching around.
.

Dammit. I did this EFI and DUI to get rid of the STUDID VCV......

God almighty. Really? Why does a charcoal canister need all that crap?
.

Or maybe that's where the charcoal purge VCV 's' port needs to hook up....hahaha!!!

Similar type clips are used to hold screws for mounting headlight bezels and turn signal lenses. Maybe one of those could be modified to work. If the right size, or close enough, only a notch would need to be cut through one side to accept a cable.
