Any one ever done a brake job on one.... going to help out a friend and fix her brakes... Do the calipers just push in like most older cars or do they screw in like some of the newer stuff I have seen.... If so do I need a special tool....

The fronts never screw in. The rears might. If the parking brake is in the caliper they screw in. If it has a separate p-brake, then it has a regular caliper,if it has discs on the rear at all.

I see that Aleros came with either drums or discs on the rear and that they do have a listing for parking brake shoes, which suggests a separate p-brake system.

You can turn in the parking brake type calipers in with a pair of channel locks and a c-clamp, but it's a PIA and very easy to rip the dust boot. It's better to buy the tool. It's cheap and easily available from the place you buy the parts from.
