Depends what you're trying to achieve. It worked fine for trying to keep rims or tires in service a little longer than practical. :meh: Don't forget you'll have to either clean it off the rims or tires again (whichever are going to get reused).
 
I had a nasty gouge taken out of my sidewall of a fairly new tire, took it to a tire place (Toce Bros) in Torrington, CT They did a vulcanized patch a year ago, still going strong.
 
Started getting used a lot more with the corrosion problem with some aluminum rims.
