Use of ones hands and fingers to manipulate / to control a device or tool. This device or tool does not
run on its own.
Taking something in need of repair and repairing it back to operational status. Not discarding due to dirt
and grime build up.
Protective cover not implied or required at time of purchase.
Proper care and full understanding of inner workings using hands and fingers / eyes and brain to feel
the actual response to input controls of device.
Mechanical device of solid sound body and manufacture
Mechanical device will run under water whether expected to or not, should electrical components
be saturated and device shuts down - clean and repair, replacement not implied or expected

New School
Push button control only
MUST have a light ON at all times, especially when it’s OFF so user knows that something
they aren’t using, isn’t being used.
When ON, must have different coloured light ON, so user knows that said device is now ON.
Plastic cover or protective coating is implied and required at initial time of purchase. Without
which device may fail or fracture whether ON or OFF.
When dirty, or colour fades - replace, repair or service not implied or expected
Manufactured in such a way that when main drive information fails or one single current wire
fails - replace, repair or service not implied or expected
Should it be subjected to and contaminant or liquid will fail in milliseconds - replace, repair or service
not implied or expected

My fan controller for the heat pump is currently right on the edge.

Hammer fixes it but only for a day or so.
