BOOMER!!!!!!!!...................

jk, that beast needs a little pick me up.

Good on ya, man !! When I installed my OME kit, I did a fair amount of headscratching on how and where to place the jacks and stands. After I came up with a system, I wondered how I could explain to anyone exactly what I did. It took some study and attention to keep both the axle and the truck safely supported. I think I posted a comment or two on it in my very lame thread. I think I had misplaced my camera, so I had no pics at all.

The "A" Spring goes on the left rear.

LOL!!! D'Animal, you are as reliable as a beagle on the issue of where that "A" spring goes!!

I took the axle assemblies out from under the truck to degrease and paint them. I used jackstands on the frame under the front doors with a backup stand on each side. I rested the front of the frame on 4x4s at first, but then got a little worried and replaced them with 6x6s. I used a creeper to slide out the axles and then put the springs on, wheeled them under, and had to use a come-a-long to get everything in place.

Please have backup jacks and blocks behind/infront of tires. My friend found his dad dead under his tractor when a jack failed. He was 12.

Good luck and look forward to the pics. Hope you have some help.

Use OME bushings, and make sure the inserts in the eyes of the springs are fixed solidly in place (I would tack weld them if you can, mine are epoxied). This should keep the OME pops away.

lol, i'v got an impact wrench and an air ratchet, i think i'll be ok...:)

both A springs go on the driver side, each end has an A and B, just wondering

Just the back has an "A" and "B".

Just the back has the A and B ... But if you run a rear aftermarket bumper with tire mount on the pass side, then you might want to consider two "A" springs. That's how I got mine.

LOL!

I don't want his next post to be "Why Does My Cruiser Lean?"

Cruiser Lean is as American as apple pie!!

Any updates? How's progress?
