Oil Sender 83520 -60020 compatibility ?

Hi,
I believe this sender is suitable for my 24v HJ61 (1988), I also need a sender unit for my 1984 BJ42 which is a 12v imported from Aus, will the 24v unit also work on the 12 v BJ 42 3B engine or is there a 12 v version ?
On JP Parts list, it’s the same part number for both?

12v sender cross-reference few other Toyota truck from the same period of production/time.

I may also add even if the sender is new, I do not trust (to much) de gauge itself. This is why I equiped my old Cruiser with mechanical gauge.

So, do you believe that Oil Sender 83520 -60020 will also work on the 12v BJ42?
Yes, agree about the gauge itself and will probably fit a mechanical at some stage on both LC's

the sender has 24v stamped on it.
