Oil question for the Austin climate.

I am still new to my Cruiser....so please excuse my question. What oil do you guys like to use in the central Texas heat/cold?
My Cruiser is a supercharged 93 with 150K on it.

To get more results i would look in the 80-tech forum and BITOG.org but heres my research at a glance

syns 5w-40: Rotella synthetic blue bottle/ Pen plat/ M1/ Castrol Edge/ Amsoil
good for 8-10k OCI
15w-40 dino: Rotella white bot/ Delvac/ Delo: all CJ-4 Heavy dity diesel oils with good additive packs, high TBN for long use. i run that year round
5-7k OCI

Good quality filters up to longer OCI around 6-10k: napa gold/ wix/ puro one(yellow)/ Amsoil

Hey Kazuma, I use 10w60 on my 87, nice and thick, my leaks have been reduced becuase of it and less knocking on cold starts

Iam running Mobile 1 10-30 in all my trucks year around with no issues.
