Oil Pressure & Cooling System Q's

Newbie looking to purchase a '95 FZJ 80 with 120K miles. During the test drive I noticed the oil pressure gauge fluctuating between the high (during acceleration) and just below the low end (at idle) of the mid-range of the gauge. Guessing this is normal? Also noticed that the color of the fluid in the cooling system overflow tank was rusty colored. I would flush the cooling system and replace the fluid, but does the color of the fluid indicate a larger problem with the system or the motor?

On the oil pressure, that sounds normal. My 94 has done the same for as long as I can remember.

As far as the coolant, take a gander at the FAQs. There is a generous helping of info in there regarding flushing and which coolant to use when you are done with a thorough flush. OEM Toyota coolant is red (and only available at dealerships), but shouldn't be "rusty" per se.
