While I was crawling under the cruiser last night starting to plan my SOA I got to think about my 2F's oil pan and protection. Being that it's long and hangs below the rails has anyone made a skid plate for theirs? My oil pan has the 1/8" factory skid plate and you can see some rock damage to it.

If so how did you do it? Does it tie in to your trans/transfer case skid plate? Did you protect the bellhousing/flywheel inspection cover too?

I'm thinking about putting Marlin's crawler box in when I go SOA so I should be able to get pretty close to a flat belly right? With trans tunnel modified.

Thanks,
Brittain

I don't run any kind of skid plates on my SOA Piggy, and it does get wheeled in the rocks.

I have a skid/protection plate on my LQ4 aluminum oil pan. Custom one and I really like the peace of mind being the pan is aluminum.
