Any one have any input on stopping a oil pan drain plug drip. I have a stock 83 FJ60, changed the oil last night and tighten drain plug as tight as possible with a new plastic washer. I get to work this morning, go out to the truck about 3 hours later and there is a quart of oil on the pavement. I tighten it again and it is still dripping.

I didn't change the washer on mine, but I did give the wrench a few "love taps" with the BFH when I put the drain plug back in. Stopped the drips. It took some hammering to get it off, so I guess the previous oil changer-person had the same problem.

don't do the hammer thing-you will inevitably strip the threads soon, and then you have a real problem.
probably you will have to drain the oil again. Then clean up the surface where the gasket should sit.
Is the gasket from Toyota? It should not be plastic, but the green gasket material. doubling it up can help as well.
If the surface is scratched, you will need liquid gasket under the paper gasket.
