I got the 30k service at the dealer.. now I see 500 miles to 35k, the car pops up a message about oil maintenance due soon.
But I thought the dealer policy is to change every 10k? Why did they put the oil reminder interval at 5k?

I plan on changing the oil myself.. though.

Because they want your money.

Remember, you are a rich, helpless 200 series owner who does not have the time or ability to work on such an exotic machine

Does the dealer have more detail records what was performed at the 30k / any service, what parts were changed?

The website only list 30k service and "world class" inspection.

I was wondering if the air filter was changed and other things. I think one time they told me they also bled the brakes, but it is extremely hard to get someone on the phone regarding service.

The dealer should have records. But this is why many here perform their own maintenance. It's the only way to know it was actually done. And done correctly.

You can change the interval to 10k in the menu... if you want to.

I change mine every 5k.

It's not really a dealer wanting more $$ thing, if you drive offroad and tow, 5k is a good interval.

It depends on how well you want to take car of the vehicle and how long you are going to keep it.
Bare Minimum < --- > well maintained.

AND if you drive the same most of the time.. some folks send in an OIL SAMPLE and test it. Then you know exactly how long you can wait.
There is the warrantee minimum also that you should follow.
