Oil Leak Low Range Actuator Assembly P/N 36410-60093 2004 4Runner

Anyone have experience in curing transfer case, low range actuator leak. O ring was replaced 3 months ago stopping leak, but leak has returned. Cheapest price on new actuator unit is $800 which seems like overkill to repair leaking O ring. I understand that this leaking actuator is a common problem. I live in Tucson.
