Youre best bet is the Tar Hollow area or any of the LBL (land Between Lakes) / Kentucky / DBBB (Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway) stuff. The tar hollow stuff is all unmaintained roads, so knowing where to go and what is there seems very difficult to look up....its always just going with guys who know the areas. I think the DBBB and LBL is all decently documented.
There are a lot of groups (mainly Facebook connected) that go on regular runs, ect. Not LC per-se.....but Toyota / Tacoma / 4Runner / All-makes groups.
It can be a lot of mud most of the year, but early summer and fall can be quite nice for wheeling.
For actual parks...they are more of a drive. There is stuff in Indiana, and Southington way NE Ohio (not very worth the drive)
