Here are some teaser pics, I will have it painted and installed by the middle of this week. It started to rain just as we were finishing up with the welding, so the paint had to wait.

A squadron mate did the welding for me and all of the cuts that had to be made as well. His work is top notch.







If you guys that are close need a professional welder for very reasonable $. Let me know.

Is that a metal tech cage or something you fabbed up yourself, looks to be very well bent and snug in the truck, looks good.

It is a Metaltech Jackson's cage. Took a little while for them to get it to me but it is stout, well worth the wait.

Those MT cages are really nice, and a great compromise between simplicity, cost, and safety.. I couldn't make one for what he sells them for..

He wears a welders glove on his other hand, so I guess he may have already learned his lesson.


I had it built and shipped to wilmington for $550.00 total, saved about 100 by picking it up myself at the freight place. The guys gave me 10% off the base price for doing what I do, very generous of them.

The metal tech guys are great, very customer oriented. Met them at GSMTR this year and they are pretty much willing to meet any customers needs.

I've got a metal tech cage in my 40 and I love it. I only wish i had the full cage though. Mine is some special creation they did. I have not seen one before on their website but it is amazing how well made it is
