Running firefox 2.0 and misc ext. On average I am over 10seconds loading a page. This page was 13.718 according to Faster Fox. I am not running into this with other sites, only mud??

Any suggestions?

hhhhmmmm....it's possible there is a bottleneck between your location and the server....no other answer, it's been mostly screamin along for me...

there IS a replacement front end web server delivering next week, implementing soon....DL580 quad processor 700mhz Xeon with 8GB memory and four 36GB 10k SCSI drives.....that will make major differences at the front end. "might" even push some/all images off to a 3rd server too....have to see...

If that fails, I've got $10k set aside for a pair of dual core Opteron servers ;)

Thanks Woody,

It must be between you and me.

this page took 9.992 and it was over 14sec for the diesel section...

argh

It has been slow for me lately too, it really is a PITA, sometimes page is black, line at bottom of screen says waiting for ih8mud.com, or board tracker or a host of other things, is painfully slow, and the pop up adds definitely weren't there before, I mentioned them in another thread a week or so ago.
EDIT ........waiting for konakonatera.com is another one, that takes for ever
...........transfering data from ultimateair.com.................these adds are slowing things down big time.
.........transferring data from pageadd2.googlesyndication.com
........transferring data from google-analitical.com

Finnally got rid of Norton and went back to Micro Trends PC-cillin.

I am zipping along nicely now. Which is good, because I was staying clear of mud...and that's not good ;p

About 6:45 every morning I sometimes loose all forward momentum for about 5-10 minutes and will even occasionally loose the site. Other sessions run just fine, any ideas?

Oh yeah, do you still have any small ih8mud stickers in stock?

Thanks,
Scott

I'll have some small ones with me this summer....since I'm one of the drivers for the East Coast FJC Trail Team, I outta be easy to find ;)
