What I was really hoping to find was the link to a hilarous post someone put up on this subject a while back.

It was a you-tube report from a news channel in CA that was showing the latest trend: Pieces of metal with a "whistle" hole in the middle that would then be welded into the exhaust tip. They filmed these gang bangers (is that politically correct?) in their low Maximas, etc. racing down the road with this very loud and obnoxious whistle that you could hear from hundreds of yards away.

I wish I couldve found it and linked it.."Is this what your talking about?!"

Maybe I've been in the car biz too long.
The punk tuners think they are into something new. They are wrong!
I've been there, done that. 20 years ago. It's boring....
20 years ago exhaust whistles were popular. Don't tell me they are back! Punks will do anything to get attention! How about if they did something new and interesting? Then they might deserve attention.
I'll be having a nap now! Let me know when something interesting comes up!
