4Skinner is coming along nice, here is a shot right before IPOR welded on the sliders and took out the rear add-a-leaf to get rid of the stink bug. Once the rear bumper goes on, it may come back to NC if Darin can squeeze it in for a little work;)

Awesome 4Runner. I had a white one just like yours and a black SR5 years ago.

Thanks, I was pretty lucky to pick up one that was so nice, interior was really nice.

This was the worst carnage, few broke'd teeth

Pulled the top end to see what the 22RE looked like, and I was pleasantly surprised;)

Here's the current state of my '71 - been sitting for a while but hopefully will see some progress this year.

Agreed! There is a reason they were so popular. When done right they look fantastic...and these are on the money!

We worked with Charlotte native, Steelman on his '99 4Runner and will be purchasing in in the next week.

This will give us an upgrade as far as trail capabilities (rear locker, rear bumper, etc), a little better gas mileage and will allow us to move down to three total vehicles. (2 Priui, and this 4Runner).

I officially put my '04 4Runner up for sale today.

Looking forward to Logan's Run with the new truck!

Congrats weejub. That's a nice runner. Talked to him last week and forwarded to a friend that ultimately wanted something less modded.

I'd be interested in your opinions on the Camburg UCAs. I'll likely be doing some front end work in the next 6months or so and am debatign whether to spend the money or not...

Hi all,

Just moved back to Charlotte after being in Boston for 4 years. This past winter in Boston, I purchased a very rusty FJ62 to get me through the winter and late season duck/goose hunting. The FJ sure did help during the crazy snow we got. When I knew I was moving back to Charlotte, I didn't want to bring the rusted truck back with me so I sold it.

Now that I'm all situated, I just bought the following FJ60 from IH8MUD and am waiting to get it sent over. I think it might be a little too built for me, but I was definitely sold with the 4BD1T diesel conversion and the RTT coming with it. I mainly need it for camping, hunting, fishing; but since it's ready to go I guess I'll have to figure out how to wheel with it. Just sent in my membership money and looking forward to meeting some of you in the future.

Wow. That one looks good. I think our only 6X diesel swap is in Durham, so we're happy to have you here in CLT. What part of town are you in?

Keep your eyes on this site for our next monthly meeting - there are a few new guys who need to introduce themselves.

I live in Plaza Midwood, so a few minutes outside of downtown. I'll definitely be attending a member meeting to introduce myself.

Got your membership info and will be sending something out this week. I live very close right on the line of Elizabeth and Myers Park. Look forward to meeting you!

Good area. Visit Common Market if you're a beer drinker. I hear some of the Vietnamese places on Central towards Eastway are pretty good.

I work a few miles from you.

Yeah, already been to Common Market for beers. Glad to hear about the Vietnamese places, really enjoy Asian food

Got your email this morning! Also looking forward to meeting you.

The 60 is being picked up today and delivered on Thursday. That is faster than I expected. It's too tall to fit on a car carrier, so it's going to be hauled on a flatbed.

Just picked up my 94 yesterday, joined the club tonight. She needs a new valve cover gasket, various hoses, belts, etc, (which I would love assistance with) but overall a solid truck.

This is my other truck that my wife said was "too polished".

Too polished, that's funny :) Nice rigs and welcome to the club
