Hannah, Congratulations! What a nice gift - I'm glad that you love your new rig! Eric, condolences, as everyone has already stated... But truly, Hanna will be safe in that beast. And she already knows how to wheel it properly!

Thank you all so much!

Sorry for misspelling your name, Hannah! It'll never happen again - now that I know it's a palindrome!
hahaha! not a problem! I'm so used to having people spell my last name wrong that I find it funny when people spell my first name wrong

What will it be Eric? 40 60 or 80 for the next one?

Eric can I be one of your kids? I will do yard work! haha

I am adding updated photo. I added 2.5 inch lift, ARB combo bar and 10k engo winch with synthetic line.

Hey guys, newbee here to the thread. I have had several of your club members ask me to jump into the site and mingle around with you guys and so here I am. I have a 74' FJ40 that totes a small block 350 with dual exhaust. I bought her three years ago from a guy in the Airforce who was being transferred to Hawaii and couldn't take it with him. She was his daily driver and was in pretty bad running condition (wish I had taken some pics before I started renovating). in her former life before him, she had a storied career as a rock crawler in Navada (Several badges and plaques are still on the dash). Today I have pretty much brought her back to her former self (with exception of re-installing the locker), and added a few weekend warrior luxury items (i.e.. marine speakers, amp, sub...) I don't have a ton of time to go off road with her, so she is pretty much retired from the competition side of rock crawling, however I still will do a little creek surfing but mostly she's a weekend road warrior. Nothing like taking her to the river loaded with brew and cranking up the radio and living life! Here's a few pics Enjoy!

Yep, nice rig. Welcome! Glad Jason ran into you.

If you're in stokesdale we're only a couple miles apart ... I'm just off Haw River.

If you have not made any Saturday morning plans yet read the "cars and coffee Winston Salem" thread. Would be great adding another 40 to the mix.

Very nice! Welcome. I just found this place a few weeks ago - good group of folks.

Nice looking truck, welcome

This is a good group of folks, best club I've every been affiliated with.

@2MuchFun Glad to meet you and hoping to see you at an event before too long. You're the second new guy with a V8 40 in a month! Our numbers are on the rise!!!

And both from the triad area. 'Tis time for a triad area M&G.

Woah, that looks like the right amount of fun to me.

Nice 40. Welcome to the club.

So you're the one I saw at Arbo Harris Teeter on Sunday? Glad to see you on here. There are a few of us that live within 10-15 minutes from the Arboretum, and @NCNole just moved to Uptown with her brown 40. Let's get you out to a meeting one of these months.

Yes, that is me, been meaning to introduce myself for a year. This FJ40 hails from Oregon->Southern California->NC. the side pipes make it sound a bit wicked.

Next...i need to find a local fj40 mechanic....i need a little steering box/alignment help.
