Dual battery setup for sale, all you'll need is a tray or mount for the battery. SOLD, located in the Triangle, willing and able to meet in the area (will not ship for obvious reasons). The battery has been used, otherwise everything else is unused/new:

• Blue Sea SI-ACR (automatic charging relay);
• 2 Blue Sea Systems 5191 Fuse Block Terminals 30-300 AMP w/ 150A fuses;
• 10 ft of red 2ga, 10 ft of black 2ga, 10 ft 10ga ground wire;
• Terminals/connectors for cables (not pictured);
• Diehard Group 34R AGM battery (has been on a tender).

Discount tire had a sale going on 2 days ago. Not sure if it was just for the day or what

@sleepycruiser If you call discount tire direct they will likely still give you the discount on top of whatever the lowest price you can find out there is.

discount had a 2 day sale. 13 and 14th.

discount tire will price match, especially with discount tire direct. if I recall, the gx tire size is slightly different than the 4runner and fjcruiser. the aspect ratio is different. the more common size was cheaper by about 15 bucks a tire. cooper and other brands have rebates going on.

also, if you have two tires, andnwant the more expensive ones, see if they will run the cheaper price

i went into DT today and they gave $70 off some michelien tires even though the sale ended last week. that was unexpected.
Oh, the tires went on this, The Tundra has moved on to a new home.

Typically the sales happen in March and October, Sadly, it has been either discontinued or rescheduled. I needed tires in October of last year and waited for the ebay sales. They never appeared and I had to go to Discount Tire and haggle the old fashioned way.

BTW, if your tires still have some life left in them and you purchased them from Discount Tire, they might offer a prorated refund for the tires that can be applied to a new set of tires. I had Cooper STT Pro's with 12/32nds of tread left and fairly severe cupping which resulted in a rough ride at slow speed. I ordered a set of Cooper ST Maxx to replace the STT Pro's and Discount Tire gave me a prorated amount of $300 towards the STT Pros. In all honesty, the tech said that they would try to resell the tires as used tires but typically don't have much luck with used mud terrain tires this size. On the day of installation, the technician that installed my new tires asked me if I wanted to keep the old tires. I said sure and he wrapped them in plastic and put them in the back of the Cruiser.

I should have worded my experience and my post differently and I do not condone theft. Thank you for calling me out @navydivedoc

BTW, if you still have some tread left on the tires and Discount Tire will give you a bit of money for them, definitely take them up on the offer. Pay for the tires up front and have them discount the tires you are giving to them. If your tires are special order then it will take a few days to arrive. On the day of installation, have your new tires installed and ask for your old tires back.

Rough numbers but you get the idea:

• $1200 for new 35's
• $300 discount for the Cooper STT Pro's with pretty severe cupping from lack of rotation with the understanding they would keep them to resell.
• Ordered tires.
• Had new tires installed and requested the tech put the Cooper's in the Cruiser to take home.
• Sold the Coopers on Craigslist for $350.

New tires for $550.

Anyone want a really old axle?

1967 FJ40, complete no brakes and Im keeping the rear disc brackets in the pic.

Set up for spring over and has a COURSE SPLINE Detroit EZ locker in it. No issues but consider it well used.


Has a newish course spline pinion flange from Kurt on it.

Im unlocking as most of my miles are street now. Swapping to fine spline axle as I grabbed one locally.View attachment 2266644
