If it were a simple swap, since it’s made for our platform, I suspect they would sell out worldwide shipping to America.
Yeah it’s not, it’s a sub tank on top of the spare and has probably been discussed ad-nauseum on mud. If I remember correctly, the parts are crazy expensive, hard to get and it’s an iron clad pain in the balls to install it.

At one point long range offered a 40 gallon OEM replacement tank for the 200 series. I wish I had one.
I never understood why everyone from the US always wanted auxiliary fuel tanks, I was like “how big do they need, bloody hell…”. I even looked into it, see what the fuss was about, and was thinking about getting one.

But it all makes so much sense now, penny drop moment.

For myself. Simply fuel range.

I can get fuel when/ where I want. Instead of having to stop.

Yes, totally agree, but I thought you already had the 36.5 gallons that we do in Aus. Even with that tank i was looking into the aux tanks.

Is the 36g tank 1 tank or just the same 25g tank wit( the OEM sub tank. Pretty sure that maths out just about right. I’ve never seen a parts diagram with a 36g tank.

Were you running solo? Some of those passes are REMOTE with no cell coverage! I ran a few of those a couple of years ago (in a humble 470) but was worried all the time on Pearl Pass as the trail was basically deserted.
There was a group of experienced wheelers. Between 4-6 more trucks.

Well done sir. Great way to spend a week. Glad you got to hit all those suggestions and explore that part of the state. That’s a lot of seat time!!

Any Favorites? @dubyahard

Pearl Pass - tough but doable. definitely harder going west to east (the way we went), but it paid off. it was super foggy on the way up and views were limited to only about 1/2 mile. then when we hit the pass, it was totally clear on the east side and we were blown away.

Gunsight - high payoff trail that isn't all that hard. i plan to return with the family at some point.

Haven't posted in a long time.. Figured I'd share the old girl. Recently threw on a set of skinny 35" Falkens sitting on Method wheels. Dissent front bumper, Prinsu rack, TKO sliders and Garage Alpha grille. Purchased this rig a few years ago from fellow member 92LXAZ who took great care of it. Not sure if he's still on here.. but the truck went to a good home. Much appreciated :)
