OEM winch wiring diagram/mounting Q's (with pics)

I got my hands on an OEM winch to be installed behind my stock bumper on my 2001 LC. This came off a Japanese spec 100. Anyone have any leads on a wiring diagram for this setup?

Also, anyone know if there is any difference between the Japanese and US frames, specifically the front end, where I would bolt this on ?

I'm jealous. How did you line this up?
To answer your question though, I would start by disassembling the bumper and start taking measurements. It will all probably line up when you see it side by side.

Doubt the frames are different. Jap trucks are RHD, so are Aussie trucks. The ARBs are designed for RHD trucks, but fit on ours no problem.

It looks like it will fit in without any problem when you remove the small cross bar inside the bumper...and will have to cut a hole where the licence plate goes

You're probably about the only person on here with one. Maybe talk with someone in the non-US sections. If nothing else someone with some wiring knowledge and an electrical pick should be able to figure the pin out.

Care to answer other peeps questions about how you got it?

Sorry-didnt know there was a non-US section, thanks for the heads up. As far as how I got it... I was in the winching/recovery forum and found someone selling a Jap. spec bumper winch. I was going to have one fab'd here in NY, but it turned out to be super expensive after all the man hours that would be put into it.
The guy selling it is in MA, Im in NY and drive to VT all the time, so it was a no brainer. Just need to to make it work, electrically speaking.

70, 120, and diesel are probably more frequented by peeps that come from where your winch did. I remember the one you bought now, bjowett has had that for sale for a couple years. There's another thread in the winching section on the same winch, someone refers to an OEM winch on an 80 and the wiring, I'd start there. They can't be that different.

Try a JDM importer. I asked one and they said about $1000.
