Good morning guys. Woke up this morning to find that my stereo not working. The factor HU appears to be working just fine, but there is no sound at all coming out of the speakers. Checked the fuses and everything is fine. My next guess would be that the amplifier is not working properly. I have never had any issues with the stereo until this morning. I have been searching Mud all morning, but I have not come across anyone with this specific issue. Besides a potential issue with the amplifier is there anything else I am overlooking? Thanks!

Did you swap fuses for the system? Visual inspection sometimes will not indicate if a fuse is bad. Could be just a bad amp. I have one that lost one channel.

Have not swapped fuses, but pulled all the relevant fuses and tested with my VM. So I know fuses are not the issue here. Guess my amp mysteriously died sitting in the driveway last night. Just seems pretty random for it to just die like that. Guess I need to start sourcing a replacement.

I have a 1999 lx470 amp that i just took out that you can have if you cover shipping. Shoot me a pm if that will work for you.

Hmmm......might be bad output from the HU? It's really odd to lose all sound suddenly with no symptoms. Mouse chew through some wires? Something near the amp hit the plugs?
