We have a 2002 LC100 with the factory nav/climate control. Nav control unit died about 8 years ago and we never fixed it as the new unit was $2500+. Can't upgrade the radio as the nav screen also controls the radio and climate in this car. So we have a separate Sirius unit, which works fine through FM modulator but is cluttery.

I'm wondering if there are any options out there to add Sirius/XM to the factory nav/control screen?

You need a FM Direct Adapter from TSS-radio.com. It goes in-line with the antennae cable. Cuts out all the static and bleed-over from other sources. had to use this on a '04 Sequoia. Here's a description from the web site:

Eliminate static and FM Interference with the FM Direct Adapter. It directly connects to the the FM output on car docks to the FM antenna of your vehicle. As a result, nearly all static is eliminated. Works with almost every Sirius and SiriusXM Docking station and many of the newer XM Docking Stations. Just check to see if your Car Docking Station has an "FM Out" port to ensure compatibility.

Features:

  • Eliminates Static and improves sound quality vs FM Transmission
  • No need to change FM Frequencies to find a good signal
Note:

  • The FM DIRECT ADAPTER will disable your ability to listen to FM/AM stations while your Satellite Radio is 'turned on'. You MUST TURN OFF your Satellite Radio to listen to local FM/AM stations.
  • Many vehicles will require an additional Antenna Adapter in order to work. Check the Compatibility Tab for full info
Includes:

  • FM Direct Adapter
  • User Guide

Good Luck!

Thanks for reply. This is a good option however, we're really looking to eliminate the sirius car dock unit and be able to access Sirius/XM from the OEM touch screen in the vehicle. Is this possible?
