I have a 2004 LC all stock, cranked torsion bars, no running boards and up sized tires. I changed my front shocks 2 years ago with OEM's and the driver side one has failed and is leaking and needs to be replaced again. Question should I spend the money and replace the passenger side shock as well or is it new enough not to worry about?

Thanks in advance.

Where do you get OEM shocks for $35? I am in Austin and they are $51 at the dealership and I pick them up so no shipping cost. If there is somewhere that can get them to my door for $35 that would be awesome.

Shoot beno a message or just contact the guys at Lowe Toyota directly. They're located in Warner Robins, GA.

Search the threads. Beno has moved on and Lowe isn't doing the discount. Search Beno's posts and his new number is there.

If you're in there I'd go ahead and put some OMEs on it in the front. You'd be halfway there if you choose to do the springs and rear shocks.

He ride is soooo much better...

Call cdan, or i get mine from Camelback Toyota. Shipping will add a bit, but still better than MSRP. Camelback will ship for free one box with order over $150 (with reasonable size restrictions, check website for details.) You don't have a dealer in Austin that does a Mud/club discount???

No mud discount in Austin, I have asked both dealers. Bigger question is should I replace both shocks or not? Thank you re_guderian for your advice which i will probably do just wanted to hear from some others too.

Just a quick update, I called Camel Back Toyota and they can get me a pair of new front shocks shipped to my front door for $72, which is a great deal. Here in Austin just one shock is $51 and you have to go to the dealership and order it and then go back and pick it up, they will not let you order it over the phone, total BS.

Don't forget Toyota of Dallas. They are very competitive too. Trdpartsforyou.com or some such thing.
