Hey guys. Thought this might be a good thread to start for myself and others as our group of 200 series owners are growing. :)

If people can list what parts or upgrade from other Toyotas will transfer over. I know that the FTony TRD shocks will transfer over but will other things like Brake Rotors etc. And will they provide better braking.

My curiosity came to be since I saw that someone is selling a tundra TRD big brake kit for a pretty sweet deal. Questions for me would be:
1. Would it fit with no problems?
2. Would a standard OEM tundra brakes swap over and be an upgrade over stock lc200 brake rotors?

I know for Tundra, they have the biggest brakes in the full size truck line-up.

Would think this helps since:
-80 series springs benefit 3rd gen 4runners
-5th gen 4runner brakes are an upgrade to 4th gen 4runners and gx470
-Toyota 8 and 8.2 elockers can be retrofitted

You get my point. Please share knowledge!

If you type “Tundra brakes” into the search tool and specify this 200 series forum, you will find a ton of posts, along with dedicated threads that will that shed light on the brake question.

I don’t know that you’ll find very many other crossover parts. The 200 changed quite a bit vs. the 100, such as an entirely different front suspension (no more torsion bars). Even though they share the 5.7 8, it gets pretty tweaked from there.

Others here can add some specifics I’m sure, but beyond wheels & brakes, I doubt you’ll be yanking too many doodads off of your other Toyotas for the 200.

There are threads for tundra front suspension, brakes, tow hooks, and wheels.
Most aftermarket front "levelling" kits for the tundra will work
80/100 series rear spring trim packers are the same.
98-2000 100 series locking rear diff will transfer over with a slight mod to the housing.
Front differential of tundra/sequoia will transfer offering 3.91, 4.10, and 4.30 gear ratios.

Ok I searched the topic but the topic is outdated. Also all of your inputs is valuable. :)

Need serious input here:

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2012 TRD supercharger. Would you guys know if it will fit a 2016 land cruiser? It's a flex fuel supercharger and I know our 5.7 is non flex fuel. The guy says that it should fit as the main difference is that you need specific fuel lines for flex fuel 5.7 for the supercharger.

Would there be anything I need like a tune up kit or a fit kit? I'll find out if my dealership will install it.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
