I just used my onboard air compressor for the first time and it’s kinda slick and super convenient. This is the OEM compressor that comes with the Trail Hunter. You just set the desired preset value and connect the hose. It will air up or down depending on the set point and the actual tire pressure.
The set up is great. The compressor itself though could be better capacity/speed wise. I wouldn’t think it would be too hard to replace the actual compressor with an ARB single or something if you really wanted. For extensive airing up and down, I’d likely miss my ARB twin. I’ve always thought about adding a regulator to my 200’s ARB compressor. Now I’m more motivated to do it. I wonder if I could just buy the display/controller from Toyota and use it on my 200?
