Guys and Gals, we need to gather a head count for the OBX for various reason; dinner plans, camping arrangements and planned events headcount.

Can you please post up the following:

-# attending including yourself
-Days attending
-events in which you wish to participate

Brian has done a fantastic job on gathering information and planning an exciting trip, let help him finalize everything by giving him the number of attendees.

If you post up that you are coming then we have to consider it a commitment on your behalf and we will use that info in acquiring total costs for things. What we don't need is to get a headcount of "X" and tell the campground that for reservation purposes and then have half the said amount. Our campground fees are based on number of sites thats why this is important.

Thanks,
Greg

Number attending: 4 (2 adults, 2 children)
Days attending: Friday night, Saturday, Sunday
Events: club dinner Sat. night, beach driving

Yes, I'm putting it all together, but I figured I'd be the first. Ahh Clint beat me!

2 people confirmed going, with one more on the edge.
I'll be there bright and early and tired Friday morning.
I'm not really a fishing guy so I doubt i'll do that.
We want to do kayaking but I need to find a place out there that will rent and how much $$$ it will be. (on a very tight budget right now)
Did I miss any other evernts??

2 adults 1 dog attending
Thursday morning through Sunday afternoon
As many as possible

- 1 attending

- I'll most likely roll out from Durham at the crack o' dawn on Thursday and get there around noon-ish. Anyone leaving from the Triangle area on Thursday morning wanna carravan?

- Activities: beach driving, sightseeing, relaxing, enjoying libations by the fire.

So, I think 2 for most everything. But, I'll have the pooch, so kayaking may be out for us.

Can the wife back out if weather is less than desirable w/o causing too many issues?

That is the only departure group that I planned. I'll be leaving then, so I've got the details on when we need to get out of town and make the ferry... I hope others will post when they'll be leaving and everyone can group up...

Ahh, she needs to go! Yeah, It shouldn't be an issue. The camgrounds are mostly per vehicle, so only the dinner would be affected... Maybe the fishing group could take Splash if you'd like to do some kayaking...

I'm going to try and round up some extra kayaks, so depending on the number wanting to go, we might not have to rent them..

1 human adult attending
1 immature canine (likely) attending, I will provide his food

I will head out early Thursday with the caravan and camp each night. As far as activities, I'll pass on the kayaking & canoeing but may do some walking/hiking/bicycling, fishing, lighthouses, etc.

I will be in Duck, with family, during the weekend of this trip. it would be great to meet up with you guys, but i do not know our plans as of yet. If i can make it down towards Hatteras, it will probably be for some kayaking, so you don't need to factor me in for any campground or dinner expenses. If any of you plan to drive up to the virginia border at the end of the weekend, i will be up for that as well.

Unfortunately, this is going to be a no go - I was super pumped and have already been praying for better weather than last year (ha!)...but my buddy is getting married in AL on the 25th! He's ruining all my plans.

Yall have fun!

Here's the totals so far

3 Circumstational Maybe's
5 Pups
9 Rigs

Keep the posting up, Final details after the BOD meeting this Thursday.
I need to know by April 10th, but the sooner the better...
