This is the body and pulley of our air injection pump.
The unit is not functioning, other than as a belt tensioner. At the tail end of 2017, our A/I pump was beginning to make a rattle. We pulled the pump apart and found that the vanes inside were starting to fall apart. Thus began our desmog....
This was cleaned out, greased the shaft and put back together to act as a belt tensioner until last year when we finally put on one of the desmog eliminator pulleys.
