Please excuse my ignorance but I have a specific question about the NP205 T-case that I hope someone on here can answer.
I have a rig I bought that has the NP203/NP205 combined t-case. I am currently running two sticks, one for the 203, one for the 205. The shift kit is also a lever style kit and since the t-case has been clocked, it is very hard to shift. After talking with a few folks, it seems as though my best bet might be to go to a cable shifter and split-stick the 205.
The first question I have is, do you guys think that is the way to go and should it make shifting easier? right now it is very hard to shift and I can't even get it into 4H.
Right now, as I understand it, the 205 has the following from the top: 4L, Nuetral, 2H and 4H. My second question is this, if I split stick it can someone tell me how that works? How do they split that up or in other words, what does each stick work? I just need to get that straight in my head.
Thanks for your help and thoughts.
