GOOD.....TIMES......and totally economical to get to work.

see ya!

FYI.....yes, it's 4 stroke, low compression 138cc oil flicker, pedal start, etc..etc...

What country did those come out of? It looks like some 3rd world country's main means of transportation that's been made for decades in the same factory.

Crazy giant belt hoop on the rear wheel!

Neat!

AHA! Just found some info online:

http://www.moped2.org/whizzer-bike.htm:

"Quick! Name the only vehicle you could buy new during WW2... WHIZZER!
And then you had to have a qualifying certificate as a defense worker in
order to buy one."

"MODERN WHIZZER.
A repro Whizzer was manufactured by Nostalgia Cycles from 1993-97 and sold
for about $1,900 in kit form. These are easily identified by a whacky
cylinder/head unit and Mikuni carb. From a distance (like, a mile) they
look very similar. These should be avoided like the plague.

A MORE MODERN WHIZZER???

Rumor has it that the licensee is negotiating with a better company... we'll
all have to wait n' see!"

Hopefully yours is the newer version!

dmaddox,

whoa! how about a youtube video of you riding/ bicylcing/ cruising on this thingy?

:D

These are the new ones (2008 versions) There have been 3 versions since the "avoid like the plague" ones were put into production. Those things were garbage. These Whizzers are actually pretty cool. I love buzzing around on mine (shaved head, honda racing piston, etc..) Top speed on mine (tagged by a local cop buddy) 53 MPH!

Help me get a FJ40!! Woo hoo!
