PayPal does offer Subscription-type payments. I know when I paid my $20 for my Pirate4x4.com star, it went in as a yearly subscription, and would auto-renew. What a GREAT way to retain membership in TLCA - would totally eliminate the forgetfulness factor and honestly, I think the fee charged by PalPal for the service would quickly be made up as auto-renewals kept coming in year after year....

Yes, this would have been great and I had attempted to implement PayPal because of this, but it was not to be.

I'll be checking to see if we can implement this with our new secure e-commerce type site, but at this time, the best bet is renewing for multiple years.
