This is the scheduled November trail ride. Meet at the Divide Philips 66 at 8:00 am. We leave as soon as we account for the people that signed up (8:30). We head West on Highway 24 to Lake George and the trail head. The trail is pretty easy and great for stock rigs. At the end is a rock garden that is itimidating but doable in stock rigs with good spotting.

Bring your GMRS radio since we start on channel 5-0.

On a more serious note, does anyone know how much snow Tarryall received in this last storm? I know a lot of it may be melted by this Saturday. Makes me think I might want to throw in a set of tire chains.

I'm curious as to snow too. But pretty sure I'm in .I have a lot going on this week. If I'm not there by 800 and haven't called someone saying i'm late leave without me

Snow looks to be around 6-12" up there (a few spots up north near Fairplay had 15-18"). Latest snow depth obs had 4-6 on the ground still from the reports I see.

NWS shows highs in the 40s and 50s for the rest of the week; Saturday high of 38 and a 40% chance of snow after 11.

What an epic day! Just three of us - wonderlc, Goslow, and me. The weather was perfect all day, and there was still a couple inches of the greasiest snow imaginable left on the trail - more than enough to keep things extra-spicy all day. That one tight, downhill, rocky part of the trail was extra exciting, as we were all basically at the mercy of the snowy rocks. We did our best to pick lines, but then we just slid into whatever track the trail decided we should be on. Everybody sustained some cosmetic damage today - even Goslow's beautiful, new, 72-hour-old rear bumper.
