New sending unit installed in fuel tank. 1/8 full on gauge apparently means 8 gallons left in 22-gallon tank.

New automatic transmission still leaking fluid.

Money well spent.

Is the guage and sending unit all oem?

As far as leaks go, it's trying to tell you it's still a 40. ;)

Tom,

The sending unit is after-market specifically paired with the new after-market fuel tank (cell).

The leaks could be endearing to some, but it's a brand new transmission, and the issue was supposed to be fixed.

Sorry to hear about the SNAFUs on the 40. I'd ask how you're summer has been, but....:hmm:

Mine's been similar, but my trucks are junkier so therefore less expensive!:hillbilly:
(spun a rod bearing in the Trooper--she's dead-lined, the Suburban took two weeks to get within VA safety inspection standards, and the FJ60 just developed a Class I minor leak at the transfer case).

Sounds like the float height / arm length is not set correctly on your fuel sender. Where is your tranny leaking from?
Appears to be leaking around the pan (again).

Michael
