So I didn't see anyone else start something to get the coordination going, so I figured I would at least start it up.

I'm in steamboat, so it makes more sense for me to not drive all the way to Denver, and then down and back over. We could all meet somewhere near Silverthorne/Dillon right off of 70, and then head down from there.

Throw in some input, I don't mind one bit!

We'll be doing a new route from Denver this year and would love to have Norco group along. More details to follow.

Sounds good to me. Feel free to take over this thread if you want.

I would be interested to hear more. My wife and I were going to head down 285, go over Monarch, the check out Black Canyon west of Blue Mesa res. Last time we were mountain biking in Crested, we swam in Blue Mesa, but time didn't allow us to check out Black Canyon, so that has been on the "Adventures/Sites to Visit" list for a year or so now.

Keep us posted!

Black Canyon is great and on my list of places to explore. We usually run 285 and 50 over Monarch with our first overnighter being along the Middle Fork of the Cimarron near Silver Jack. This year, we're probably going to head the back way into Lake City. Depending on water levels, we may stop and fish the Gunny just east of Blue Mesa. @BJTLC100 has gone backwards from Lake City, so he and I will coordinate a route very soon and let you guys know.

Unless you have another plan? I'm up for meeting and trying something else as well.

An additional thought I am having regarding the route to HIH is that I may start out either Tuesday or at the latest early Wednesday morning from SE Denver. Head south on I-25 to Pueblo. Head west to Medano Pass into the Sand Dunes NP, then over to Creede, possible fishing on the Rio Grande and other feeder streams we may happen upon. Then into Silverton Camp ground on Thursday morning/mid-day to help set up, maybe do a quick exploratory trail ride and greet the HIH gang as they trickle in the rest of the day!

I need to be in Silverton by early Thursday (before 10am) at the latest. I may leave a little earlier and just stay in Silverton or Ouray on Wednesday night.

Subscribed. I'll be headed out of Fort Collins on Thursday morning - would love to hook up with some folks if it works out!

 Just got in off the wait list! Subscribed.

I may be doing the Ghost Town run with RS july 22-24, so we would just stay down there the whole week if I do end up joining that crew the weekend before. Otherwise, I'm in Cental Denver and up for leaving anytime the week of HIH. I will be pulling a Coleman E1 which is somewhere between an off road trailer and a small Pop up camper, so unless the trails are mild and wide, I'll be fairly limited in my ability to run staight through trails to get there.

Will we be able to camp in Silverton at our campground Wednesday night?

Alright, so with this getting closer, my plans are to meet somewhere in Denver (if anyone wants to) sometime Thursday. My buddy is driving in from California and we should be able to get down to Denver Thursday AM if anyone wants to plan to meet and cruise. Otherwise, I'll be going the back way from Steamboat lol

I am going to head out on Tuesday morning if anyone is interested in leaving that early.
