Hey Cruiserheads! Concerned father reaching out from Arizona here. I have two daughters who live in the east Norfolk/Virginia Beach area. Their vehicles were partially submerged in recent flooding, and looking for suggestions on where to bring a ‘99 Land Cruiser and a 2019 Toyota Highlander for repairs/fluid changes, etc.
Engine damage has already been done to the Highlander from water ingress, I don’t think there is any damage to the Land Cruiser. But, I am sure the girls should have the fluids swapped out, maybe wheel bearings, etc. they both sat in standing, likely brackish water for 24h.
I am looking for suggestions on reputable shops in the area. Definitely looking for established shops. While I appreciate individuals that are extremely capable and would be willing to help out… Since insurance is involved, an established business is probably our best choice for repairs.
Thanks in advance! We have fires, but not too many tropical storms and coastal flooding episodes in Arizona
