What happens when its raining hard, and you have a snorkel? will the water affect anything or will it get caught in air filter??

Thanx

They supposedly have drain holes at the top, right below where the air goes in for water to be collected and drained from. check yours for these. Don't know how well they work. Now, if you are in the middle of Rita or something...

The head of the snorkel has ribs that allow the water to drain out while driving. Also, inside the air-cleaner is a water trap that holds waer and allows it to drain when the engine is stopped. I've never had a problem with my snorkel allowing water into the engine.

There ok in the rain but if your going through some big water crossings just a small tip , turn the head of the snorkle backwards.
