*Edit* Oops. I just realized that there is a sticky especially for this kind of thread up top. I could try and be funny and say I don't feel special unless the spotlight is on me...but yeah...sorry...*

Hey all..I made a thread in 80 tech....but thought I would say what's up to the locals.

I've been lurking on the board for a while, before and after I picked up my 80.

So yeah...if you see an 80 with a missing passenger front bumper cap...that's me!

Welcome! :flipoff2:

Nice

Nice, watch this site, the socal 80s and the beach n toys site for any trips being planned, see you on the trail.

Thanks all! Any sort of local meets or anything like that occuring soon? Wouldn't mind meeting some of the heads in person

Welcome.

Did you lose that bumper cap at TDS this year. I watched a guy in a similar looking 80 nose dive coming down a hill and take out that side of his bumper.

Yeap. I was said donkey. My first time out doing any kind of wheeling...took the wrong approach and I slid down and smacked the corner. Thankfully it was just that, the slightly tweaked bumper and some hurt pride.

So you must have seen me when I backed out, took the high trail and was doing a little three wheel motion...

I lost it permanently somewhere in a mud pit in Otay a few weekends ago.

Yes, I saw. We were eating lunch there. I was in the white FJ62 and my friend had a yellow Land Rover Discovery.

Keep coming back and have fun. I think we've all put some kind of dent (or worse) in one of our rigs. It's part of the initiation!

That was me.

My name is Tom.

I actually had two huskies there.

The Cruiser is in progress, its getting there.

If you want to go wheelin' let me know

Thanks Tom! I will definitely get in touch with you. Shopping around for a MAF for the '80...it's on its way out
