Non-US guys: What's the difference between trim codes (GX, VX, etc)? (2 Viewers)

From what we have here in Venezuela:

GX: Base model. quad beams, fixed rear windows, no fender flares, cheaper suspension, smaller stock tires, steel wheels, basic interior, cloth upholstery, cargo area troop seats, basic AC commands, basic stereo (no subwoofer, etc). Part time only w/ Locking hubs

VX: Top end model, basically the one you had in the US. Smooth headlights, sliding rear windows, flares, comfort suspension, 265/70/16 tires, signature 80 alloys, better interior, leather upholstery, third row seating, button style AC commands, full stereo. This also had the option for the center console fridge (somewhat common). Full time 4wd w/ central locking.

I've seen VERY few barn door 80s, all of them base model "middle eastern embassy" vehicles...

Hope this helps,

Luis

are the models in Venezuela lhd or rhd

how much would a rhd manual diesel cost there

Hi,

Like said before by others there are configuration options that depend on the local market.
For example, mine is a VX, and has almost everything lugueto states, but had no stock AC, it's a five siter so no rear sliding windows, no leather, stereo just with two crap dash 4'' speakers and, sadly, no center console fridge. Oh! and it's a manual.

In venezuela are LHD.

Venezuela is LHD my friend, and we never had diesels. There are only a handful around and were imported. And 80 series are extremely expensive due to the current market and overall country circumstances and situation.

Both GX and VX models were offered in A/T and M/T by the way

Cheers,

Luis
