Ok this might be a stupid question, but I don't think my 88 FJ62 came with power windows (when I got it the PO had switched dented 60 doors with manual windows). So I'm about to pick up a set of 62 doors with power windows. Can I upgrade the 62 easily? or do I need to switch out the manual stuff with the power stuff?

Any advice will be helpful.

Some early 62's came with no power options. But most have them. It ought to be plug and play(for the most part) with new 62 doors, if you had the power originally. You might have to look behind some panels and see what wiring you have there.

Ok i think i'll have to examine my Toyota manuals then. But after looking at the door jams today i didn't immediately see any power connections... ahhhh more work :)

Look behind the panel btwn the doors, you should see wiring going up them and through the jab. (Or it may be capped off if someone took it off b/f. good luck and let me know what you find.
