Just replaced starter in an 02 tundra with 4.7l engine. Truck cranks fires for 2 seconds and then shuts down. Any help need it for work Monday

Does it idle or do you have to keep it with the throttle? CEL?

Did you just replace the starter? Rebuilt or OEM replacement?
(Can likely rebuild your old starter quite cheaply)

Can you put the old one back in and will it work?
